Menzies Aviation's CEO moves on

Handling Talk
John Menzies has announced that Forsyth Black, after leading the aviation business for three years, has decided to step down from his role of Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

During his 19 years with the group Black built strong operations, including the revival of the Menzies Distribution business (prior to its sale last year) and the transformation over the last three years of Menzies Aviation. In his wake he has left a solid platform for the future, according to the Board at Menzies.

The Board will continue to focus the business on organic growth to ensure the delivery of shorter term shareholder value and will now undertake a thorough process to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer, who will prioritise nuturing the underlying business in what is an exciting growth market.

In the meantime Giles Wilson, who has been Chief Financial Officer, will assume the position of Interim Chief Executive.
