Menzies and i6 add UK airports to network

Menzies Aviation has extended its partnership with digital fuel management technology company i6 to another 4 airports in the UK.

The secure technology enhances real-time operations across airport fuel supply chains, maximising efficiency and providing accurate data and digitised, paperless operations.

The partnership adds London Stansted, Leeds Bradford, Birmingham and Teesside International airports to the network.

Technology deployed at the new airports include Fusion6, an into-plane refuelling platform and Reconcile6, a fuel inventory management platform.

Fusion6 integrates live data from airports and airlines, providing full remote visibility of ground fuelling operations.

Reconcile6 tracks the movement of fuel across the airport supply chain, offering real-time inventory management, fuel stock accounting and reconciliation.

Marco di Mario, SVP Fuels at Menzies Aviation, said: “i6 has proved to be an excellent solution for our fuel operations in the UK and we are very excited to increase the number of locations in this region. So far, i6 has helped us in improving our operational efficiency with real-time data for better planning and fuel order allocation. By enhancing the digitalisation of our operations with industry-leading technology, we continue to lead the way with safe and efficient aviation services.”

Airlines and energy suppliers at locations with i6 technology can also access eHandshake, which offers real-time refuelling connectivity for into-plane operators and airlines, and Perspective6, which provides a real-time view of global airline and supplier information with advanced reporting.

Menzies and i6 have been working together for 5 years at airports including Los Angeles, Orlando, Las Vegas McCarran, London Heathrow and Liverpool.
