The lounge covers an area of 420 square metres and offers a maximum capacity of nearly 100 passengers. The new Lotus Lounge is the fifth business lounge to be operated by Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company, which is a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Trinh Ngoc Thanh - Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines said, “Alongside Lotus Lounges at Noi Bai International airport (in Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat International airport (in Ho Chi Minh City), the Lotus Lounge in Danang marks an improved consistency in our provision of four-star ground service quality across three regions - the North, Central and South - and reaffirms VIAGS’ and Vietnam Airlines’ region-leading service capability.”
Boasting a luxurious design as well as state-of-the-art facilities consistent with those in Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports, the new lounge in Danang caters to Lotusmiles’ Platinum and Gold tier members, plus Vietnam Airlines’ and other carriers’ Business Class passengers, who are primarily flying from key markets such as Korea, Japan, China and Thailand to Danang.
