With the expectation of the opening of the new Istanbul Grand airport, Denge has already scheduled an investment plan for the short term: the first phase of this plan has already been completed, with the addition of 2,500 square metres for the current plants in Istanbul, reaching up to 8,000 square metres closed area in all. The renovation and expansion of the other plant has been completed in Sakarya, and has encompassed 4,600 square metres of covered area.
In order to keep up with the increasing demands, these investments will follow with the second phase, which will be announced next year or early in 2016.
This last 12 months were better than 2013: Denge witnessed increased sales of around 20%, which is a significant growth: the capacity increases helped Denge to respond to its customers with better delivery terms. Last year also saw useful sales of Denge's Medical Lift, with more than a dozen units manufactured within that time period. Equally, the popularity of the company's self-propelled chassis grew radically, with the demand for self-propelled GSE. Interestingly, truck-mounted and towable units have also posted increased sales.
The manufacturer added some new customers to its portfolio in 2014, whilst investments from local ground handling companies working abroad have also helped Denge to grow.
In the near future, it believes that there will be more opportunities for growth, especially in the light of the expanding Turkish aviation sector.
