Canadian air cargo company KF Aerospace (formally Kelowna Flightcraft) has granted Jettainer the management and servicing of its ULDs.
At the launch event of their long-haul services in Toronto on June 11, a loading celebration of the first ULD was held.
Jettainer will manage a fleet of more than 700 ULDs, mostly pallets, and additional services will include ULD steering, positioning, repair and maintenance. Initially KF Aerospace will fly a long-haul route between Toronto and Brussels, using a fleet of DC-10-30Fs, supported by a Canadian network using B727-200 freighters – all using Jettainer loading devices.
