Intercargo handles vaccines in Argentina

Handling Talk
On March 28, the personnel of the Argentinian company Intercargo attended flight KLM701 ,which was carrying more than 200,000 doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine for use in the COVID-19 innoculation programme.

Once the vaccines had arrived at Ezeiza international airport from Holland, Intercargo unloaded and transferred the pallets of vaccines to the refrigerated chamber located in the Cargo terminal of the airport. For this special operation, refrigerated dollies were deployed that allowed the transfer of the medicine, preserving the coldchain and avoiding any sudden changes in temperature.
