
The handler will provide ramp, passenger and cargo warehousing services to airlines with a team of skilled professionals, commencing operations at YVR in the fourth quarter of this year.
A trusted partner of 17 airlines in Toronto, GTA dnata's expansion into Vancouver cements the company's position as a leading air services provider in Canada. In 2019, GTA dnata assisted 1.2m passengers and moved over 90,000 tonnes of cargo at Toronto Pearson International airport. Meanwhile, in January this year dnata further expanded its footprint in Canada, commencing flight catering operations at Vancouver International airport, investing in a multi-million dollar facility with the capacity to produce 8,000 inflight meals a day.

Dnata entered the Canadian aviation market in 2016, establishing GTA dnata through the acquisition of a 50% stake in GTA Aviation's handling operations at Toronto Pearson. The company now operates with a team of 700 employees.
