Smyth has over 30 years of experience in ground handling, most recently as Group CEO of WFS, a position he left in 2023.
Since then, he has been a board member of PrimeFlight, providing strategic guidance and directly assisting with company growth.
Prior to working at WFS, Smyth spent more than two decades at Menzies Aviation, holding key positions including CEO.
Smyth’s business experience also includes involvement in private equity, advising and leading businesses through investment cycles, strategic transformation and value creation initiatives.
Bucaro’s transition is the result of several years of planning and he will remain with the company as the Chairman of the Board.
