Qantas has announced a multi-million dollar investment in a new First Lounge and an expansion of the airline’s existing Business Lounge at Singapore's Changi airport.
The development is scheduled to begin in April 2019, with the Singapore First Lounge offering seating for 240 customers. it will feature a luxurious design and premium à la carte dining with Asian-inspired menus. The existing Business Lounge will also be expanded. Combined, the First and Business Lounges will be able to offer seating for more than 800 customers.
Qantas CEO Alan Joyce has said that the airline’s overall lounge capacity in Singapore would increase by 60% thanks to these developments.
