A contract has been entered into between Taiwan-based EVA Air Cargo and cool chain equipment supplier Envirotainer to launch a new pharma service.
The service, named EVA Pharmacare, will specialise in high value goods like biologicals, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, healthcare products, high-end foodstuffs and high-tech semi-conductor components.
The partners released a joint statement, saying: "The first wave of the service launch will aim at the European and Asian markets, including Amsterdam, Paris, Vienna, Taipei, Bangkok, and Singapore.
The service will, from the beginning of June, extend to London-Heathrow and North America, including San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. It will use EVA Air's extensive network of freighter and passenger bellyhold capacity."
