Envirotainer and Swiss WorldCargo completed the first commercial shipment using the new Releye RAP container.
The shipment from Basel, Switzerland, to New York's John F. Kennedy airport comprised of three Releye RAP units and two RAP e2 units, which were handled by Swiss WorldCargo.
It was checked in every detail throughout the journey thanks to an integrated live monitoring system and Envirotainer’s new Control Tower service stood ready to respond within minutes to any critical event, if one should have occurred.
The customer was a global Swiss pharmaceutical company.
The Releye RAP can carry five pallets and is the second in a line of temperature-controlled containers, joining the three-pallet RLP, which was launched last year.
