Delta Air Lines is to terminate its security contract with Delta Global Services at Minneapolis St Paul.
The decision will affect over 100 employees of Delta Global Services although the entity will still fulfil other functions for the carrier, including aircraft grooming, freight handling and passenger gate agent tasks. It is understood that DGS will look to re-employ the workers affected by the contract cancellation.
Global Elite Services has been named as the successor to DGS for the screening operation, and the the former will take up the new contract at the end of March.
