China Cargo Airlines has picked Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to handle freighter services to Miami, start in January.

The airline will operate 3 Boeing 777 Freighter flights a week to Miami from Shanghai Pudong International Airport with WFS being awarded a 3-year contract to handle its cargo, which will include e-commerce, perishables, seafood and general cargo.

When the service starts in January, it will be the first service to Miami International Airport by a Chinese airline.

The partnership extends to Seattle, a technical stop for China Cargo flights.
