China Airlines chooses WFS for Honolulu cargo contract

Worldwide Flight Services is now providing China Airlines with full range ground handling services in Honolulu after being awarded a new cargo handling contract.

WFS began secured the contract to provide passenger services in Honolulu for the airline in 2001, followed by the contract for ramp handling in 2005. In May this year, WFS successfully bid to handle China Airlines’ cargo business, too.

The carrier currently operates a daily service from Honolulu to Narita, Japan, and twice-weekly flights to Taipei.

Ray Jetha, Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development for WFS in North America, commented on the latest contract. “This is a great tribute to our local team and clearly demonstrates the importance and value of high quality customer service,” he said.
