CHAMP powers ONE Record integration for WFS and Saudia Cargo

Cargo Tech Talk
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) and Saudia Cargo have launched an IATA ONE Record integration with CHAMP Cargosystems’ 1Neo-Connect service.

The 1Neo-Connect service enables standardised shipment data exchange between Saudia Cargo and WFS, establishing a ONE Record use case.

They will benefit from enhanced data accuracy and instant booking updates to improve shipment visibility.

CHAMP’s 1Neo-Connect was designed for the ONE Record transition and CHAMP has created standalone sandbox and pilot environments so customers can trial ONE Record before going live.

Chris McDermott, CEO of CHAMP Cargosystems, said: “By leveraging the standardised data exchange ONE Record offers, we are enhancing operational agility and delivering greater value to our customers through our plug-and-play service 1Neo-Connect.”

Eng. Hesham Alhussayen, VP Corporate Services at Saudia Cargo, says ONE Record is a testament to the airline’s Digital Transformation roadmap, saying: “We see the initiative as a catalyst for innovation, enabling greater efficiency, transparency, and a more responsive, high-quality service for our customers.”

John Batten, CEO EMEAA at WFS, added: “There are many advantages to be gained from embracing new technologies, but the most significant steps forward come from this kind of collaboration, led by IATA and embraced by leading technology, airline and handling companies. ONE Record has an important role to play in the future of our industry.”
