CargoLogicAir appoints new CEO

David Kerr has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for CargoLogicAir, effective January 1, 2018, a few weeks after stepping down from his position as Senior Vice President Cargo at Etihad Airways.

The appointment was announced by Sir John Holmes, Advisory Board Chairman of British all-cargo airline CargoLogicAir. Holmes said: “David is a highly respected, experienced and well-known air cargo industry executive who will bring new insight into the business and lead CargoLogicAir towards our strategic goal of recognition as one of the leaders in the European airfreight industry.”

David has more than 20 years of experience in the airline sector, holding senior roles for world-leading companies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East in various industries, including FMCG, Banking and Travel. Kerr’s first job in the aviation industry was with American Airlines.

In his new capacity as CEO of CargoLogicAir, he will be responsible for implementing the airline’s strategic development plans and growing its freighter fleet and network.
