BGS provides fuelling to DAT at Kaunas Airport

Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has signed an agreement with the Danish airline group DAT to provide into-plane fuelling services at the Kaunas International Airport in Lithuania.

The new contract started on 1 May 2024 and will last a year.

DAT, founded in 1989, began its operations in Denmark and established the airline DAT LT at Kaunas Airport in 2003.

Initially operating as a cargo airline, today DAT offers chartered flights and ACMI services worldwide.

Vitalis Dudys, the BGS Group’s Head of Commerce, said: The volume of services we provide at our stations is growing. Kaunas is no exception – the high quality standard we have set there is acknowledged by airlines. We are ready to keep the bar high and continue delivering the same level of service to both new and existing clients.”

Tomas Valiukevičius, Head of Ground Handling at DAT, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with BGS for our fuelling needs at Kaunas International Airport. This agreement ensures that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, especially during the high-demand summer season. We have full confidence in BGS's ability to provide reliable and high-quality service, which is crucial for our commitment to safety and punctuality.”
