Birmingham airport has just taken delivery of a suite of solar-powered Aviramp boarding ramps for its Flybe hub operations, courtesy of PRM provider OCS.
Although Aviramp has been selling globally, with sales as far afield as the US, this latest order is virtually on the company's doorstep. Aviramp's CEO, Graham Corfield, was enthusiastic about the local interest in the product.

They have always been hugely supportive and we have had many long discussions over the years, about both Aviramp and the EMA Mobiloader, which they were instrumental in facilitating, leading to the product we see today. It is great to see our equipment building momentum in the UK and this development with Birmingham airport should bode very well for the future.”
