Avion Express flies back into the cargo sector

Originally established as a cargo and passenger airline back in 2005, Avion Express has announced that it is re-entering the airfreight market.

Although the carrier is currently mostly focusing on the transportation of humanitarian aid and medical equipment in the fight against COVID-19, it has said that other cargo requests would also be very welcome and that they would be thoroughly considered. Avion Express has stated that it is ready to offer freight capabilities of up to 17 tonnes of cargo with A320 types, this rising up to 24 tonnes with the A321, utilising both belly capacity and that of the cabin in this latter aircraft

Currently, it has numerous A320 and A321 types, based in Central and Eastern Europe which are ready for service and with an FAA approval for a subsidiary airline, Avion Express Malta, in place, the company will also be able to offer cargo transportation to and from the US.
