Airport Show in Dubai to showcase latest innovations

The 21st edition of the Airport Show in Dubai will start tomorrow (Tuesday 17 May) showcasing the latest innovations in the aviation industry.

Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17 to 19 May, the show, organised by RX Global, is supported by several important companies and authorities in Dubai, and will have a strong focus on sustainability.

This year’s show is supported by Dubai Airports, Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, dnata, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, Global Air Navigation Services and Dubai Air Navigation Services.

The show and its co-located events Airport Security Middle East, ATC Forum and the Global Airport Leaders’ Forum will discuss growth opportunities, how to overcome current challenges and the industry's approach to sustainability, among other topics.

Firas Abu Ltaif, Exhibition Manager at RX Global said: “True to its slogan ‘Connecting the Global Airport Industry’, the event will be a great opportunity for networking of industry leaders, experts and government officials to discuss growth opportunities and address challenges.”

Products and services from over 150 exhibitors from more than 20 countries will be on display and more than 4,500 industry professionals will participate.

One major highlight will be the sustainability zone called the e-Apron. In partnership with dnata, manufacturers of electric and hybrid ground support equipment and ground handling equipment will have space to showcase their latest innovations.
