The bi-annual event on 19-22 May brought together the entire airside community — from ground handling and catering teams to engineering, emergency services, and operational staff — to shine a spotlight on safety, wellbeing, and innovation.
Throughout the week, Heathrow’s Terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5 were busy with hands-on activities, safety exhibitions, live demonstrations including using VR headsets, and collaboration sessions, all of which are aimed to raise awareness, promote best practices, and foster shared responsibility in maintaining a safe airside environment.
Airport College International team actively engaged in discussions with industry peers, explored new safety technologies, and witnessed live demonstrations that showcased operational excellence across airside functions.
