From January to May ABC transported 180,605 tonnes of cargo across its global network linking Europe, Asia and the USA via Russia. Operations have expanded in Asia, where the carrier has launched a twice weekly service from Hanoi to Europe and the US via Hong Kong.
Under development since 2011, the North American market has also seen improvements, where ABC has launched flights from Los Angeles, which connect the US west coast with the rest of its global network.
ABC has also initiated new online stations in addition to strengthening its standing in existing markets by adding more frequencies from Asia, Europe and the USA, bring the total weekly departures to 48, 55 and 17 per region, respectively.
Currently, AirBridgeCargo provides over 600 connections via SVO every week, with delivery times under 48 hours, including ground handling. A total of 26 destinations in 14 countries are served by the airline's 14-strong fleet of Boeing 747s.
Denis Ilin, ABC's Executive President, said: "Every decision we take in ABC is aimed at satisfying our customers' needs. Their growing support allowed us to be recognised as the 'best all-cargo airline' earlier this year and to continue outperforming the market with our FTK up 23.5% in the 5 months of 2015. ABC's international cargo team will use their best efforts to meet and wherever possible to exceed our clients' expectations, which in the end should lead to our joint success."
