
The Russian cargo airline carried a total 50,482 tonnes of cargo in May this year and 238,154 tonnes from January to May; an impressive 21% and 24% increase, respectively. The airline's strong FTK performance has reinforced the steady growth it has been enjoying of late.
ABC has been gradually establishing a variety of new and diverse network services and destinations, including the introduction of flights from Houston to Abu-Dhabi and services to Africa – a new continent for ABC’s services - via flights by its partner airline. Expansion has also meant strengthening its position in other markets, with the addition of third weekly frequencies to Singapore and Munich.
“Despite flat market conditions and depressive yields, we have seen confident support from our clients and this has bolstered our operations and ensured further growth,” commented Executive President of AirBridgeCargo Airlines, Denis Ilin.
