Air France opens revamped lounge

Lounge & Catering
On January 25 Air France reopened a completely redesigned, much larger and totally renovated Business class lounge.

With an open kitchen, private saunas and a detox bar, the company has created something special for its Business class customers, as well as its Flying Blue Elite Plus cardholders. The revamped lounge is situated in Hall L at Paris Charles de Gaulle, Terminal 2.

Covering an area of 3,200 square metres, the lounge will actually open in two stages. A first part (comprising 2,180 square metres) was unveiled on January 25 while the second stage is due to open in July 2018.

Needless to say, the lounge seeks to highlight the best in French cuisine. To that end there is a La Table Gourmet dining area, designed in the spirit of a Parisian brasserie, with an open kitchen where an on site chef prepares hot dishes and adds the final touches in front of customers. A self-service section invites customers to discover seasonal flavours for all tastes, with simmered casseroles, salads and pastries all available; and there is an extensive selection of wines and champagnes for those who wish to savour the complete experience.
