time:matters enhances Shenzhen airport handling services

Lufthansa Cargo subsidiary time:matters has strengthened its relationship with Shenzhen Airport Group to provide handling services.

time:matters Courier Terminals, a wholly owned subsidiary of time:matters signed a memorandum of understanding with International Cargo Centre Shenzhen to enhance handling services last week.

Shenzhen Airport is located in the Greater Bay Area and is an important airport for the e-commerce industry.

Lufthansa Cargo has been operating scheduled services between Frankfurt and Shenzhen since July 2024 to serve growing demand for e-commerce between Asia and Europe.

The airline and Shenzhen Airport Group have operated the International Cargo Centre Shenzhen, officially registered as Shenzhen Airport International Cargo Terminal since 2004 as joint shareholders.

Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo, said: “With the International Cargo Centre Shenzhen (ICCS) having delivered high-quality cargo handling services for the past 20 years, this collaboration represents a forward-looking partnership in the logistics industry further enabling global business.”
