TCR and Guangtai collaborate to drive electrification

Sustainability GSE
TCR has added the Guangtai e-bus to its portfolio to help customers on their greenification journey.

The collaboration between TCR and Guangtai follows an in-depth study carried out by TCR identifying the WGBD08 electric bus as the perfect solution to meet their customers’ needs.

Affordability, proven technology, reliability and fast delivery were among the key factors that will enable customers to realise their decarbonisation goals, the study found.

The bus is equipped with high capacity LFP batteries, offering two possible options depending on the need of the end-user: 210kWh and 281kWh.

“The key success factor for any stakeholder on their decarbonisation journey will be timely access to reliable and qualitative buses which allow an effective (cost) sustainable implementation.

“Therefore, TCR is proud to announce the addition of the Guangtai e-bus to its portfolio. Together we will be able to support our customers on their busing greenification journey,” said a spokesman from TCR.

A dedicated e-bus working group has been established at TCR in response to the increase in demand for electric buses and in part to fulfil its own sustainability ambitions.
