Dubai International Airport offers 264 direct flight routes, with 94.7% business class options and is just 18-minute drive from Dubai's Business Bay and has 48 hotels within a 2-mil radius. DXB also boasts a high-end shopping experience with luxury brands and travellers can enjoy the airport’s zen gardens.
In contrast Tokyo-Haneda International Airport just a 30-minute drive to the Marunouchi business district and offers 28 lounges and 95.1% of its routes include business class options.
Travellers can enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine at the Oedo Food Hall or visit the 24-hour Izumi Tenku no Yu spa, which features hot springs, saunas, and a rooftop bath with views of Tokyo and Mount Fuji.
Frankfurt Main Airport is seen as a key financial hub in Europe and offers 293 direct flight routes, though only 44.37% offer business class. The airport is just a 16-minute drive from the Bankenviertel business district, with 19 nearby hotels for accommodation. FRA also offers facilities to enhance passenger well-being, including the Room of Silence for meditation and Silent Chairs with soundproof glass and built-in speakers for a peaceful experience.
The research also revealed Istanbul Airport operates direct flights on 301 separate routes, the highest of any airport in our study, and 91% offer business class options. This makes travel to and from Istanbul far more convenient, eliminating the need for stressful transfers or long layovers. It earned a business travel score of 6.56 out of 10.
Suvarnabhumi International Airport has the most lounges available to passengers, with 40. The airport also performed well for the number of nearby hotels, with 21 within a two-mile radius, and earned an overall business travel score of 6.06.
Indira Gandhi International Airport has the most hotels near it, with 397 within a two-mile radius. The airport operates flights on 145 direct routes, 75% of which offer business class, and earns an overall business travel score of 5.99.
Madrid–Barajas Airport is the airport with the shortest travel time to the local business district, just a nine-minute drive from Madrid’s Cuatro Torres business area. Aside from this factor, the airport performed well for the number of direct routes, with 208, and has 11 hotels nearby. It received a business travel score of 6.40. View the full research here
