Qatar Airways Cargo has started A330 freighter operations to three new destinations.
These are Lagos, in Nigeria, Accra in Ghana and Guangzhou, in South China. The bi-weekly Lagos and Accra freighter services commenced on December 6 2014 and a direct, three times a week freighter service to Guangzhou began on December 3. Ulrich Ogiermann, Qatar Airways Chief Officer Cargo, said: "There is clearly huge potential in the West African states of Nigeria and Ghana as well as China. Our focus is to improve connectivity and provide a growing network of destinations and quality operations to our customers."
