NAVYA buses deployed by Fraport

NAVYA has sold two NAVYA SHUTTLE buses to one of the largest German insurers, R + V.

This latest sale will allow R + V and Frankfurt airport (Fraport) to use two autonomous NAVYA SHUTTLE buses for the carriage of passengers through Frankfurt airport. With this deal, the French start-up continues its planned international expansion to export its autonomous and 100% electric mobility solutions.

A first for a German airport, Fraport will use the NAVYA SHUTTLE buses in a mixed traffic scenario: the first is on a 1.5 kilometre road and the second on both closed roads and public roads. The test phase and launch of the two vehicles took place on Friday October 27 at the airport. For now, only employees will be using the shuttle, but Fraport is not excluding their future deployment on the runway.
