
The two companies work together to develop the electric catering truck, which proved its ability to operate in a busy airport environment.
Over 60 days, the truck covered 730 kilometres, served 230 flights and operated for 147 hours, demonstrating its reliability in temperatures averaging 1.6C.

Mallaghan and dnata Catering & Retail’s collaboration builds on a five-year Master Service Agreement signed at the Dubai World Trade Centre Airport Show in May 2024 to supply catering trucks for dnata’s global operations.
Their dedicated Innovation Working Group meets bi-annually and continues to explore next-generation GSE solutions to enhance sustainability, develop AI and autonomous technologies, and make airport operations more efficient.
