Lion Air and Indonesia AirAsia handling licences in jeopardy?

Problems with passenger handling at Lion Air and Indonesia AirAsia could have ramifications.

Plans are afoot to suspend the ground handling licences of both Lion Air and Indonesia AirAsia, following what have been described as passenger handling anomalies. The proposed suspensions will apply to Soekarno-Hatta airport (Jakarta) and to Denpasar airport, in Bali. According to sources, a number of passengers on international flights were permitted to deplane at domestic terminals where security staff subsequently had to redirect them for security checks.
