Munich Aviation Service (MAS) has achieved IS-BAH registration, making it the first FBO to do so within the German Aviation Service (GAS) network.
GAS currently covers ten airports and is therefore the biggest handling network in Germany. It is now dedicated to the International Standards of Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH), which were developed by the International Business Aviation Council and the National Air Transport Association. The implementation of IS-BAH standards in a company's own Safety Management System, along with regular checks by external auditors, is a voluntary practice. These are adapted to the standard for Business Aircraft Operators and ensure consistency as well as the highest possible safety level for handling processes and methods.
