LuxairCARGO, the cargo handling division of LuxairGroup operating Luxembourg's Cargocenter, has selected the HERMES Hub Management System to support its daily handling operations.
After considering several solutions, LuxairCARGO finally decided to opt for the HERMES proposition. This roll-out will allow total process integration and visibility as well as prioritised steering across the hub to outbound flights. In addition, inbound breakdown planning will be based on shipment priority and proactive (as opposed to reactive) problem management will be adopted as the norm. There is provision for special control and monitoring of specialised cargo whilst an innovative RIDES system will take control of forklift tasks. Finally, a large repository of time-stamped process points will be incorporated for focused analysis and business intelligence.
