GHI’s aviation reunion ramps up as Denmark eases Covid restrictions

It’s all systems go for the Annual GHI Conference in Copenhagen with Denmark removing all countries from its most restrictive ‘red list’ for entry into the country last weekend.

The move means that if you are fully vaccinated then you will not have to isolate upon arrival or produce a negative Covid test to gain entry into Denmark. This applies to delegates from all countries.

More than 400 aviation stakeholders are already registered for the Annual Conference on 13-15 September in what marks the first major gathering of the aviation family in almost two years.

The confirmed delegate list includes 60+ airline carriers and representation from major ground handlers including Swissport, WFS, dnata, and Menzies Aviation.

One-to-One meeting demand is high with over 1500 One-to-One meetings already requested and the latest easing of border restrictions in Denmark expected to trigger heightened activity.

Key benefits of joining the 22nd Annual GHI:

1) Your industry needs you: let’s get back to business after the enormous disruption caused by the Covid crisis. More than 90% of stakeholders told GHI they feel it’s an important milestone for the industry’s recovery that the Conference take place this year. Let’s make this happen!

2) Business is always better in-person: Zoom, Teams and other video call platforms have been an essential tool during the crisis, but nothing beats the power of face-to-face meetings. In-person conversations yield superior outcomes and the prospect of ad-hoc business opportunities.

3) Discover best practice advice: access conference seminars from leading operators, which will examine the future of ground handling KPIs, self-handling, LCC business models, the rise of cargo and much more. Click here for the full programme.
