Around 75% of aviation stakeholders have reported that it is important for the industry that the Annual goes ahead as planned, on the proviso that it is safe to do so.
Christophe Deloux, International Procurement Manager, Air France said: “I am fully supporting the event, which is crucial for our daily business and even more today with the COVID situation. It helps the entire airline industry to connect with each other, to better understand the situation and to tackle all together as one team the emerging issues in front of us. Face-to-face interaction is an invaluable opportunity.”
Carm Borg, President & CEO, Global Aviation Services, added: “While COVID-19 has had an unprecedented impact on our industry, now is an even more important time to host this event as the landscape of the industry changes before us.”
Confirmed attendees include easyJet, Icelandair, Fraport, dnata, DHL, UPS, Aegean Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Condor, KLM Cityhopper and many more.
Max Gosney, GHI Conference Chairman, said: “Thank you for your support. We will now focus on doing everything within our power to deliver the productive and safe conference experience you would like to see.”
He added: “It is our great ambition to bring the aviation sector back together for the first time since COVID-19 struck to address a period of unprecedented challenges and establish a blueprint for recovery in 2021.”
Denmark’s borders are open to international visitors, who are attending a business meeting as part of their job. GHI has published a special GHI Manifesto, which addresses delegate feedback received in a survey on running this year’s Annual event.
