FCS will take over cargo handling operations for the Chinese carrier, operating eleven flights each week from Frankfurt airport, carrying cargo shipments expected to amount to around 70,000 tonnes a year. Five weekly freighter services will take place between the airline's home airport in Guangzhou and Frankfurt and the other six will serves the Shanghai-Frankfurt route. Its fleet consists of several Boeing 777 freighters with have capacity for carrying up to 100 metric tonnes.

China Southern Cargo is a member of the SkyTeam Cargo alliance and one of the most important cargo companies at Frankfurt airport.
