He was CEO of Kuehne+Nagel from March 2013 to July 2022, overseeing a period of strong growth with large investments in new technology and digitalisation.
Trefzger was also responsible for the acquisition of Apex International, which expanded Kuehne+Nagel’s airfreight presence in Asia.
He began his career at Siemens, later moving to Roland Berger & Partner and held senior positions at DB Schenker including Executive Vice President of Global Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
In addition to his Swissport position, Trefzger is a member of the Board of Directors at easyJet, Accelleron Industries, Swiss Prime Site and PSA International.
He is also an operating advisor to private investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, and is the founder and owner of advisory firm Larix Equity.
