dnata launches Raleigh-Durham operations

dnata has expanded in the USA by launching operations at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina.

The air and travel services provider has invested over $2 million in launching Raleigh operations and created 25 new jobs.

Lufthansa is the inaugural customer, operating five flights a week between Raleigh and Frankfurt using an Airbus A330-300.

David Barker, Regional CEO Airport Operations at dnata USA, said: “We are excited to add Raleigh-Durham to our growing network in the USA. This expansion underscores our commitment to consistently invest in our operations and services in a strategic, rapidly developing market.”

dnata provides ground handling, logistics and cargo services to more than 70 airline customers in the USA and employees 3,300 team members.

In the 2023-24 financial year, dnata turned around over 60,000 flights, handled 18 million passengers and 200,000 tonnes in the USA.
