Managing Director, Christopher Licht, welcomed Max Conrady, Senior Vice President Cargo at Fraport for an opening ceremony, which took place in line with all coronavirus restrictions.
Even during these unpredictable times, Celebi continues to invest in further growth, especially in preparation for the urgently required pharmaceutical deliveries this year. With the addition of three individual temperature regulated cool chambers, total capacity has increased by more than 1400 cubic metres.
All facilities are equipped with a rack system, allowing the storage of cargo on up to three levels. Furthermore, the trio of chambers provide state-of-the-art temperature control sensors, as well as an advanced alarm system that allows round-the-clock real time tracking for customers via a mobile app.
In addition to this crucial investment, Çelebi Cargo has signed a consultancy agreement with IATA in 2020, in order to achieve the next milestone and become a fully CEIV certified company in 2021.
