Aviapartner has invested in 48 new electric cars for use at Brussels airport.

The order, which is worth around €1.25m and comprises a mixture of Citroen models, is part of the company's scheme to reduce the level of its greenhouse gas emissions.
The ground handling company says that it will continue to replace older equipment with new, environmentally friendly alternatives wherever possible. Since a vehicle at the station can average around 50 kilometres a day, the electric option was deemed to be advantageous. The vehicles in question have all been acquired under the terms of a four year lease.
