Temporary accommodation for pharmaceuticals and perishables seems to be dominating the headlines at present.
Kuehne + Nagel has just broken ground on a new 16,300 square metre pharmaceuticals hub in Switzerland, with the aim of strengthening its position in the country’s healthcare and pharma sectors.
The hub will become part of the company's pharmaceutical network and should be able to accommodate around 46,000 pallets; it will also have three different temperature zones incorporated, to ensure a comprehensive service.
