American Airlines Cargo has opened a new Controlled Room Temperature facility at Heathrow.
The 1,700 square foot facility is located in the carrier's cargo centre and will reinforce its growing healthcare and pharmaceutical network.
According to the airline, later this year the Heathrow facility will be enhanced when more of the carrier’s next pharma storage facility becomes operational. It has been designed to maintain temperatures between 2-8°C and provides a useful extension to American Airline's existing cool chain in the US.
