Air India helps travellers and brings aid

On April 4 Air India mobilised its resources to operate both international charter and cargo flights.

The Delhi-Shanghai service allowed the repatriation of travellers from India whilst ensuring that much-needed medical equipment from China was brought into the country.

The carrier’s spokesperson added that Air India was also scheduled to operate further cargo flights between Delhi and Shanghai: these would continue until April 9. Moreover, the airline will also be operating cargo flights to Hong Kong.

Internally, the Air India Group has been transporting essential cargoes throughout the continent: a total of 79 cargo flights were undertaken between March 26 and April 3
