AGI expands at New York JFK

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is expanding in New York by moving into a new building at John F. Kennedy airport.

Operations from Cargo Building 22 are due to start on 1 December, and the move will add 11,960 square feet of office space and 82,153 square feet of warehouse space to existing operations at JFK.

AGI already has operations at JFK located in Building 77, Building 86 and Building 21, and the expansion is expected to create over 200 jobs.

Warren Jones, Vice President of Business Development at AGI says: “This facility will allow AGI to expand JFK operations to our existing client base, as well as enabling us to support new airline customers looking to develop services into the New York region.”

Last month, AGI opened a 76,000 square foot off-airport air cargo facility five minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport to process import freight.

It is also relocating to a 24,000 square foot on-airport facility at Newark Liberty to handling export cargo.
