Its Safeaero 200 single-operator deicer has received Intellimix technology, mixing deicing fluid more efficiently.
Traditionally, fluids are mixed and heated on the vehicle’s chassis and them pumped up the boom for spraying, which requires fluids to be flushed between aircraft as the ambient temperature changes to ensure the correct fluid mix is deployed.
Intellimix circulates the fluids at the required temperature but does not mix them until they reach the nozzle, which Textron GSE says eliminates the need to flush fluids, lowering operating costs, increasing productivity, enhancing safety, and reducing environmental impact.
It will feature on the CE-certified Safeaero 220, whose features include an extensive operational radius and compact size, stainless steel tanks, 4-mode nozzle control system, automotive steering, and collision warning system.

At GSE Expo Europe, Textron also unveiled its TUG Endurance baggage tractor, featuring a modular design that prioritises performance, safety, ease of service, and sustainability.
The CE-certified TUG Endurance is available with either a cab-forward or cab-aft driving position, and its ergonomic driving compartment is designed to provide superior visibility.
Available with a lithium-ion electric powertrain featuring General Motors (GM) and Powertrain Control Solutions (PCS) technology, it was designed in collaboration with Textron GSE specifically for ground support applications.
With high-capacity lithium batteries, the GM and PCS driveline can complete two 2 shifts on a single charge and utilises a J1772 connector for level 2 AC charging, and is capable of DC fast charging.
It can rapid-charge when charged with a DC fast charger, and be opportunity charged as operations demand during the day.
The TUG Endurance is available with gas or diesel powertrains, and its drivetrains are designed to be interchangeable so operators can upgrade to lithium power when electric infrastructure is more common.
