
The partnership, valued at 500 million riyal ($133 million) will start this month (March 2025) and last three years with the option for a two year extension.
SGS will provide Riyadh Air with ground services including ramp handling and passenger terminal services.
The signing ceremony took place at Riyadh Air’s headquarters attended by senior executives including Adam Boukadida, Chief Financial Officer of Riyadh Air and Mohammed Mazi, CEO of SGS.
Boukadida said: “This agreement ensures that we are fully prepared for Riyadh Air’s official operations in 2025. Ground handling services are a critical part of the premium experience we aim to provide to our passengers, and we are confident this partnership will set new benchmarks in the aviation industry both locally and globally.”
Mazi added: “This contract represents an important addition to our growing portfolio of strategic airline clients and partners, both domestically and internationally. It is also a testament to the continuous development of our services, which align with global aviation standards.”
