Mete Erna has been assigned to the position of General Manager of Turkish ground handling company, Havaş.
Erna is promoted from his previous position of Deputy General Manager of Havaş, in charge of Sales and Marketing since October 2017. Since July 1 this year, he has also been working as Acting General Manager of the company.
A post-graduate from Istanbul University Political Sciences Faculty International Relations Department, Erna’s professional experience in aviation dates back to 1995, when he began working at Havaş. Following several positions at various airline and ground handling services companies in Turkey and beyond, Erna rejoined the Havaş family in 2014, to work on sales, marketing and business development operations.
Erna is appointed as the General Manager as from October 1, 2020.
