Taking the helm as the new JBT AeroTech President is Chuck Durst, an industry veteran who brings a wealth of experience after having served as the President of the Ground Support Equipment business for the past 21 years.

In his new role, Chuck will not only continue to lead the GSE business but will also assume responsibility for all of AeroTech which includes Jetway Systems and Airport Services.

He will report directly to Jim Johnson, President of the Oshkosh Vocational Segment, which provides highly engineered fire and rescue vehicles, refuse management solutions, and other specialised equipment.

Speaking of his retirement, Burdakin said: "I have mixed emotions about retirement as I have loved working with our customers and a great team at AeroTech. We have grown the business dramatically over the last 10 years by working relentlessly to provide our aviation customers with industry leading products and service."

Other organisational changes

"We extend our gratitude to Brian for his many contributions and wish him success in his future pursuits," said Burdakin, "And, on behalf of the company, a heartfelt congratulations to Chuck Durst and Frank Moore on their well-deserved appointments to these pivotal roles. Since our acquisition last summer, I have become even more impressed with the people and culture of Oshkosh Corporation. I know our business is in good hands of a people-oriented, innovative industry leader. I believe now is a good time to spend more time with my family and friends. Their expertise and commitment will undoubtedly steer JBT AeroTech toward continued success and innovation in the industry."
