Italian style and elegance lie at the heart of two new airport lounges. The opening of these lounges is seen as another step in the plan to relaunch Alitalia's ground and in-flight services.
Casa Alitalia is being billed as the next level in the celebration of traditional Italian feeling and hospitality. The new concept was conceived and created by Alitalia staff and transformed into reality by the Italian architect, Marco Piva. In fact, Casa Alitalia has been designed to imitate an Italian home rather than a public space, and the interiors have been crafted to resemble those of a beautiful Italian house.
Aside from traditional Italian food there will be vegetarian and gluten-free choices available to travellers. In addition, there is a buffet and bar area where guests can sample Italian wines. Casa Italia’s services also include VIP rooms and rooms for private meetings, a library, a prayer area, bathrooms with showers and wi-fi connectivity.
